The thought of these children being raised by parents and nannies who never ever text or place a phone call when the children are awake scares me. Imagine how selfish these children will become once they are adults and learn omg the world is not all about me every second of the day. Thankfully my employers agree and think a phone call or text here or there is fine. I as well work 24/7 it is a different game in my opinion when you literally go weeks without being off work. Not all children nap especially at the same time when your dealing with 3-4 children all day long. texting my mom everyday to let her know I'm alive is not neglecting my charges. [/quote]

Such nonsense.  Teacher teach all day without using their phones.  Most nurses work all shift without using their phones.  You have a job that involves the care and welfare of innocent children - your job is to watch them and make sure they are safe at a MINIMUM.

Your rationalizations for using your phone when you are working are truly ludicrous.  I have a life, I have personal business, and yet I always manage to make my FEW business calls when my charges are safe in the home and under my supervision.  And I mean FEW calls - less than once a week - to set up dentist, doctors, mechanics, cable guys, etc.  I do not even call my husband when I am working.
