That's okay PP's.. I'll answer.  Even though I know there's only one "right" answer.

She's treated like a human being, not a commodity.  Or a servant from days gone by.  She provides this family with a very valuable service.

You see, you could pay through the nose and still treat your nanny like shit.  So while she can perhaps afford a better lifestyle, she still goes to work and is treated like something you scraped off of your shoe.  Some people seem to think the only right answer is money.  It isn't.  I won't discuss specifics of money with you for that very reason.  She's  paid well enough - within the range she suggested when she was hired.  It just happened to fall in the range of what we were willing to pay.  Not at the low end of the range, either.

She has paid vacation time, sick days, etc.  She has the option to stay over if the weather is bad, more for safety than convenience.  On the rare occasion that she brings up a behavior concern we work on it.  Things like that.[/quote]
