I'm not lying, but thanks for making assumptions and passing judgment. If you must know, I didn't meet her until the following year. Her mother and stepfather divorced, she changed schools. I was new to the school too, and we became (best) friends. We still are, and we've been out of high school for over ten years. It wasn't until sophomore or junior year that she told me about what had happened. He started molesting her when she was very little and she didn't tell ANYONE because she was afraid of being homeless and hated by her mother, which is what he told her would happen. As you can imagine, it's not something she talks about often. Maybe you think I'm a liar because you don't think that children are ever molested or raped? In which case, I'm actually happy for you - it means you haven't known the pain of knowing someone you care about has been horribly hurt by someone else and knowing there is little you can do to ease that pain. But feel free to educate yourself - it happens, all over the world, every day.

HOWEVER, the point was/is, the poster I was responding to was judging the OP based on ZERO information about her personal life, without knowing if her pregnancy was due to contraceptive failure, or rape, or an accidental one-night stand, or what, nor did she know the reason for the abortion, and yet she seems to think anyone would have one doesn't belong around children.
