I've read through these pages and other threads on this subjects. The nannies have yet to bring up one legitimate reason why a MB should this. Its only nasty responses to MBs bringing multiple points.
Actually, I think many nannies are also saying they wouldn't do this. I know I am one of those that is against a nanny bringing her own child, and I am a nanny. I replied earlier asking the one nanny that kept saying it could be a win-win-win for all, on how it was much more beneficial to the nanny than the family, and that a family could get the same "benefits" of that type of situation from either just doing social activities with other children, or from an actual share (and then saving more money). I see no real benefit to a family that would only come from this type of thing, and as much as nannies that are for this type of situation say that they would never put their child first, I think that I wouldn't be able to stop myself from doing so if it came down to it. Like with an accident, I would go to my kid first, even just for a few minutes, before realizing the other child was more hurt and going to help that one instead.
