I wouldn’t do it. Pot smokers are losers. Now that it’s legal in California, every single day I see and smell pot coming from the windows of cars. Literally every day!!! Marijuana is a deal breaker for me.
+1. I concur. People who smoke weed are truly losers & I wouldn’t want my child in the company of a common loser. I would continue my Nanny search.
Did either of you even read the post? It was cannabis oil. Reading is fundamental.
Mug yeah I’m really sure it was cannobis oil. Btw I have a bridge to sell you!
You have no idea what it was. Lots of people cook with cannabis and do edibles. Not everyone is actually smoking weed. If this nanny was actually smoking weed often OP would know it bc the smell is strong. Duh. So go back under your bridge troll.
Using esbibles also makes you a loser, fyi. I guess you should go back under your pot plant. Il go back under my bridge, away from losers using marijuana.
Edibles and the like were made for folks with severe pain and issues eating and sleeping. Tons of people use the stuff recreationally, sure. But even more use it in place of high risk pharmaceutical drugs. I've personally known about half a dozen folks that were able to drop several drugs with side effects and just use medical marijuana. I also know quite a few creatives that smoke to relax and focus on their art. They are harming no one, it is legal here, and on top of that, they are contributing to the world by creating art/music/etc. If you drink at all, and live in a legal state, you have no horse in this race. I go to lots of parks and the issue I see isn't pot- it is opiate addiction- much of which was caused by this wonderful legal pharma painkillers we had. I think its best to focus on what is really harmful and what is pretty innocuous. Painting everyone as a loser when you don't know anyone dying of cancer or in hidden pain or disability just paints you as the loser. It's like saying, oh there are winks drinking on the street. All alcohol is bad. I would never hire anyone that used any alcohol or drugs at work, of course. And just like the government can drug test, as well as any company, that is their choice in hiring. But the getting all bent out of shape about something that actually just makes most people relax and eat Cheetos- please. Just my 2 cents.
I don’t use tobacco, alcohol, marijuana, caffeine, any illegal drugs or narcotics for more than 2 days. I don’t use any pain or other addictive medication if I can absolutely avoid it. No, I don’t want to work in a house with anything that could hurt my charge. Guns and ammunition WILL be locked away in separate locations. Alcohol and all medications WILL be locked away and out of reach. Knives WILL be secured in a drawer with a child lock. Chemicals WILL be locked away. I am NOT going to responsible for my charging getting hurt or dying due to preventable negligence. I can’t control what my employers do when I’m not with them; I can tell them how strongly I feel about the above, and that I will quit on the spot if I find any of the above. It’s in my contract, and I’ve never had someone hire me who had an issue with it.
How do you even function outside of your own home? Seriously, how are you interacting with children in the real world if you are this scared. And I’m calling you a flat out liar. No normal family would hire someone this afraid of life.
