Kids don't get RAD by having caretaker changes. Kids have caretaker changes all the time. RAD is when kids are bounced around home to home not having a real home - foster care, orphanages, etc. and most of those kids are predisposed in utero with drug/alcohol exposure and/or families with mental health issues as that passes through with genetics. Its far more complicated and its a huge stretch to say a nanny change will cause rad. If child has a stable parent, then that is what they need. Otherwise, the argument should be that every year of school should be taught with the same teacher (so teachers move up a grade with each child) and same with day care and other providers. You are misusing RAD and attachment to make yourself feel more important than you are. OP, forget it and move on.
A teacher is clearly not the same as a nanny who is in the child’s home from birth to three years old (OP’s situation) and takes care of everything a parent would do in terms of bonding, love and care. OP was the only adult home to provide the child’s needs. I don’t know about RAD but I think it’s common sense that to have this nanny simply vanish after three years is most definitely bad for the child.
