There is no excuse for her behavior. [/quote] OP said she spoke in a "cold and angry tone," she didn't use a harassing, racist or other insult which would result in HR getting involved! It is extremely unusual (not going to say unheard of, because who knows) for hr to intervene in such a matter, especially if it is a one off and the person apologized. Someone would look pretty nuts bringing such a matter to hr.[/quote]
