Human beings?
A few years ago I managed to end up with three bouts of tonsillitis and strep throat between March and May (yeah, my own fault, I thought I could just man up and work through it, stupid me) which led to a peritonsillar abscess and surgery with a week long hospital stay and another week of recovery at home where I was to weak to even walk down to get the mail. All in all I was on sick leave 20 work days that year (including a week before surgery because I couldn't open my mouth more than 1/4 inch, couldn't talk and was running a 102 - 104 fever before they could fit me in for surgery). Thankfully I live and work in a civilized country where employer allow their employees to be sick.

If you can't handle  people getting sick you need to employ a robot or put your child in daycare where you have multiple child minders for a group so that one of the human beings getting sick won't inconvenience you. And anyone who allows a child minder who even might possibly have the flu or strep or whatever to come in with a 2 week old baby in the home (who is already exposed to sibling's cold) needs to take a minute and think about if that really is a great idea. MB just had a baby. She is not sick. Unlike CM.[/quote]
