I sure can. I can also take a shower while my children play nicely or are placed in a pack n play. I can also rest on the couch while they play by my side. Apparently you cant do those things either.[/quote]

What is the difference between after surgery or not? Do you need someone in the bathroom too washing your body? for one, I am sure you are limited on showering after surgery. Will showering take longer than normal once you can take showers? I highly doubt it. Too many woman have coped taking care of their children on their own and survived. you are just miffed because your dhs distant cousin, who is supposed to read minds, did not offer help. That is the big picture. Wait til DH gets home if you must have someone there to shower. Wait til kids are in bed. Showers are most relaxing at night just before going to bed. And no, I dont consider myself supermom. Just have my shit together and can handle my kids and everyday tasks at hand.[/quote]
