[/quote] My mom was a great mom and anyone would think it was out of her character to let her kids touch wine or anything, but I remember she would always let me and my brother drink her wine if we wanted. We each tried it occasionally to see if it had started to taste better but it was always gross. Now neither of us drink wine or any alcohol, but at the time I could totally see going up to someone and saying she let me drink her wine. And if I wanted to impress them I might even say I finished the whole thing! I think most things kids say have a grain of truth in them.[/quote]
