Parents in my opinion use them under the guise that they want to ensure their child is safe and all, but what I sense they really want to do is micromanage their nanny all day long.

Hahaha....no. The purpose of a nanny cam is whatever purpose the parents decide. That is it.

As for whether the nanny is technically violating the parent's wishes by watching TV on a tablet is the silliest thing I have ever heard. Of course she is violating their wishes and should be fired for that.
