Plenty of nannies said they'd be thrilled by this, and others said they'd have nothing to do with the time, and wouldn't appreciate the lack of thought that goes into a "gift" like this. Its up to OP whether its worth the risk to skip on a real bonus because she chose to go on vacation. Her nanny may be thrilled or she may use the time to look for a new job. It seems like a stupid risk to take by people who claim to like their nanny, and evidently aren't hurting for money, they're just cheap. [/quote]
