These responses only proves that the nannies who complain on here, are only thinking about themselves and not the well being of the child. The child lives in a house which likely has a back yard. The family do not want the child to leave the premise of the house, and want the child to be in the house and most likely in their own yard. This is a very reasonable request, and many families feel this way until the child is old enough to be able to communicate if something where to happen or they sign them up for an activity that they want the nanny to take for enrichment. To suggest that the nanny is bothered by this is a joke. Every single person who works is limited to work in the office space. Maybe you don't remember since you chose to be a nanny only to have unrestricted social time on the family's dime? I work in an office, and many many days am expected to eat lunch at my desk without leaving the building. Do I complain? I am expected to stay focused and tend to my job. When you work, those hours are dedicated to getting the job done efficiently and with care. Expecting your employer to prioritizing YOUR social life over the well being of their child is a joke. The nannies here that complain that they don't want to be in the families house and back yard, and need to drag a 6 month old for personal shopping or to the park so the nanny can socialize, They're in the WRONG field and should never be hired by any family. This is exactly that nanny that forgets that they were watching your child and let anything go. Most nannies are not like this, most nannies are loving, caring and prioritize the child and the family's needs. But the ones on here complaining are exactly the careless types that think about themselves before the child.
Man I feel sorry for you. Are you the nanny who doesn’t talk to anyone all day? Just baby talk? If this is fine with you, I think you are mentally ill.
