OP, this is exactly why you need a seasoned nanny. I nanny for 2 y/o twins and a 7 month old baby and we got on outings every single day- museums, parks, different libraries, grocery store, book stores for story time, etc. Depending on how much walking we'll do, I use a wrap or stroller for baby and the twins walk. If we really need to, I can bring the double stroller for twins and wear the baby. Baby's morning nap is roughly 8:30-10am, outings from 10-12pm, home for lunches then all 3 go down for nap while I unpack from the morning, eat my lunch, and cook their dinner. 2 year olds sleep from 12:30-2:30/3 and baby sleeps 12:30-2 and then has another catnap around 4:30. I use the baby's first and last naps to do activities with the 2 year olds like sensory bins, crafts, mini experiments, etc. Then 2 year olds go to bed for the night at 6:45pm and baby shortly after. It's not rocket science to get a baby and toddler on a complimentary schedule!
