How is it that the nanny can operate her own iPad but not the one provided by the family? It may be a different generation, but it does the same thing. Op, I would just have HER show you how to use the items that she’s having trouble with since she doesn’t ask questions- this way you’ll know if she understands or not. I would defined be concerned about her driving my child- like you said, what if she puts the seat in wrong and goes to press on the break or makes a turn and the car seat and baby flip over? You basically have two options: continue to go step by step with her and worry everyday or get a new nanny. I am American and I also know of foreign nannies who go above and beyond- so your ethnicity has nothing to do with it. Some people are lazy and it comes out, sometimes sooner than later; especially when they realize they’re being under paid- not that you are but nannies talk. [/quote]
