Sad to say, but this mother needs to stay home and care for her child/ren then she wouldn't have to complain about what the nanny can and can't do. How much is she paying this nanny? How well is she treating this nanny? Is she respectful to said nanny? All these things comes into play. I heard of nannies who can cook perfectly well, yet burn their bosses' food because their bosses were nasty to them. Lady you get back what you put out. Evidently you have no good feeling toward this person whom is caring for your child/ren otherwise you would have spent time with her to ensure your child/ren safety. And whose car is it? And why is she moving a car seat? You or your husband should have putted the seat in the car and she would have to move it. I am a nanny and have been for many years. And I never had to move a carseat, the parents put the seats in the car and all I had to do was to secure the children into them. I personally is afraid of breaking people stuff therefore when I can't get anything to work I don't fool with it. I will ask many questions, may seems like stupid questions but I don't care I will ask them anyway. Or I would leave it until I can operate it as it should be operated. When my now employers moved to their new house I didn't know how to use the washing machine so I didn't touch it until one of them explain the different controls to me. And the same with the dish washer. They themselves couldn't get those new machines figured out either. Nannies aren't morons, (despite what many of you may think) we just don't want to destroy other people's property. We can fuss with our own property all we want, but when coming to other people's we are very cautious.
