I do know what sanctimony means and if you knew what it meant you’d recognize your own. As for venting - there’s venting and and there’s whining and being unnecessarily judgemental all for the sake of some victimhood that the OP and some others are trying to achieve. If you’re so damn talented find another job rather than “putting up with” your boss  innocently acknowledging your job is tough. They work outside the home and that gets you you’re paycheck.
