I have an honest to god question regarding this phenomenon. Why do people have children and then pay others to literally raise their children 24 hours a day 7 days a week? Its something I haven't been able to wrap my head around. I'm not trying to be snarky or looking for snarky answers I just don't understand it.
Hi OP I am a single mom to a 2 year old and I have nanny/household help 24hours a day/6 days a week. I work 5 days a week about 10 hours a day in high finance. I enjoy having round the clock help for whatever situation may arise. This includes not only work/business travel but also meeting up with friends, going to the salon/spa. I am a full time parent, and having full time domestic help enables me and my son to live a happy, less stressful more enjoyable life. What exactly is your problem with this scenario? Just because you prefer/choose to/have no choice but to exhaust yourself catering to your kids & household duties 24/7 doesn't make you a better parent than those who do have lots of help.
Why would you bring back a two year old thread? Did you search for this topic just to comment on your own life?
