Also, though I agree that it is on the nanny to get to and from work, I don't understand why everyone is being snarky. From what I've interpreted, MB offered to transport OP around. OP can get to and from work just fine. If MB didn't want to do this, she shouldn't have. It's not polite to get snarky with the OP for accepting AND APPRECIATING MB's help. Don't offer help if you don't want to give, especially if the person is telling you that they are able to find an alternative.

As for the parenting issues, I understand this is a venting post. No Nanny or NF is perfect, and we all see things in each other that we can be judgmental about on a bad day. I just hope you're able to check this at the door while you work. And if her parenting is a serious issue for you, you might want to consider looking for a new family before tensions rise so much that you vent your frustrations to her in anger.
