So why cut out half of your son's nap time?  There are plenty of parents who set the wifi to only be accessible during their child's nap time, what I don't understand is why she has an even smaller window.[/quote]

Because if he goes down at 1 *usually* and the WiFi became available right at 1 nanny could just toss him in his room to jump on the wifi, but now she actually has to do her job, take care of her responsibilities, maybe even have time to clean up a little before WiFi time. [/quote]

Did you hire someone with the responsibility and impulse control of a 6 year old? You trust your child with her, whom you supposedly care about, but you can't trust her to use the internet responsibly? Betcha she came real cheap...[/quote]

It doesn't take 30 minutes to tidy up.  And most nannies can get a child to nap more easily than the parent, at least on occasion.  Personally, I would be furious the first time that I sat down at 1.15 to eat my lunch and the wifi wasn't available.[/quote]
