If I give my notice and I stay for a month I could be set for at least 3 months of unemployment. If they say do not come back I'll be set for 6 weeks. I literally came home tonight in complete hives because I'm so stressed and so miserable.
1. Do you understand that they gave you an illegal agreement to sign? 2. Do you understand your job is "at will"? 3. You obviously didn't have a lawyer review that "contract" for you. Get a new job and quit. Enough is enough already, yes?
A lawyer is one that wrote the contract. Maybe the way I explain it was confusing about guaranteed hours. No where did I say I wasn't being paid for hours I was working. I stated that I was guaranteed average of 40 a week. If I work 55 hours I am paid for 55 hours.
She stated she paid for hours worked not just 40. She did not state about OT but clearly stated she paid for 55 hours.
