I'm a working mom, and if I ever wanted to make over $50,000, it simply requires working 40+ hours per week plus commute usually gets to 50+ hours per week. Most of us working parents also have hopes of sending our children to college some day at a rate or $20,000-$60,000 per year. This requires a lot of early sacrifices on our behalf, like time with our kids in the early years. So, really it becomes a choice of time with our kids as youngsters, or giving them the best chance of success and happiness for the future. Stop judging. This is the American dream- leaving your children better off than yourself.[/quote]
