I feel like signing now is opening me up to unnecessary legal action. The mom was livid when I gave notice. I have gone over and over in my head why they are pushing this now and I just don't understand. I would have gladly signed upon hire but the sequence of this makes me think twice. As for two weeks severance I didn't get any. She let me go immediately, however I was smart enough to wait for my check to clear before telling them. Also I was lucky that my new job had a flex start date so I was only out one weeks pay.
