You are expected to get your downtime when you get off work at 6:45. Be thankful you have that. SAH moms go through this 24 hours a day. I know it is a long day, but this is what caretakers (nannies and mothers) do. If you don't think it is fair, then honestly think about another profession.
You're insane. Legally I have a right to some sort of break. I don't use tv when I work but they watch it every night and on weekends with their mom. So how do you sah Kim's get through the day again? And beside these are not my kids
Pp here, excuse typos. But also I'm very active with these children. We do sports, go swimming, and I take them around town on outings throughout the week. It's 102 degrees where we live and I need time to decompress to get through the evening with them. I don't believe in letting the tv watch them like their mom has to when she's home. I'm "on" 10.5 hours or more and would like to eat without jumping up and down for seconds etc. I wonder why teachers get breaks? Or other professions yet some of you act like people working long days with children in their homes shouldn't? It's lunacy
