If she delivered packages for the post office, for instance, she might be given disability leave. However in this case there is no such disability available and as she doesn't work for a larger company and there is no way to accommodate her, she needs to go. As a pregnant nanny my employers have been very supportive. They have been doing all the lifting for me and have told me to stay out of the heat. I think you should show her a little more empathy.
