MB here and I just don't get why you all just don't buy protectitive covers for your phones... My nanny broke her phone three times in the last year (not because of my kids' actions, just because of type of flooring we have and only 1 time out of 3 on the job), and after first time I asked her and she said she'll get the cover "tomorrow"... Then it was that she was "looking for the perfect one", and I suggested amazon... I lost count how many times our phones or IPad were dropped, and I had to replace the cover once, but it was just the cover... Why not buy the toughest covers if you work around kids? In OP's situation I would offer to pay, but I would request cover for subsequent phones.
Because the "toughest covers" cost $80/90 and not all of us have the luxury of affording that. Seriously, were all of you MB's born with a silver spoon in your mouth?
You are an idiot. You can get the Otterbox on Amazon for between $20-30 depending on what color you want. I have used them for years with all my iphones and have never broke a screen. I agree with this poster. It's stupid to have a $800 phone and not have it in a good case, especially if you are around kids a lot.
