I ask my bosses to text me at least twenty minutes prior to coming home so I can get the house in order since the house usually is scattered with toys, puzzles, books and dirty dishes in the sink and they usually comply. This shows that they trust me a lot. I have had families who showed up early without letting me know ahead of time and I suspected they were doing it to check up on me. Aside from the house being a disaster, they came home to a happy child playing with a happy and engaged nanny so I guess it wasn't so bad.
What can't you clean up as you go? So suspicious. I would never text the nanny 20 minutes before coming home.
Not the Pp But give me a fucking break. Kids make messes and if you have two kids who are different ages and you're trying to keep them entertained all day things get messy. Especially babies you clean it up they go right behind you and destroy it. You aren't alone with kids often are you?
NP here, I watch a 2 and 3.5 year old and we keep the house very clean. I'm never worried about it looking like a disaster if someone were to come home at any time of day. I'm not a housecleaner or anything for them, just have the kids put their things away. A baby shouldn't make much of a mess and its your job to clean up.
