I'm English and looking to move to California for a while with my husband. I'm a nanny here and have been with the same family for 5 years, before that I worked in a nursery. I am looking into jobs etc and could really do with some advice as to where to start. Looking to move to the Long beach area as this is best for my husband's job. Does anyone know any agencies near there? We don't know the area well and looking for places to rent is proving difficult! We plan to visit at some point before we make the decision to move. It's freezing here in the UK and can't wait to be warm!! Thanks girls! X
The nice areas near long beach are manhattan beach, Hermosa beach, and the Palos verdes peninsula. Those are where the rich people live So they pay Beyer but are also higher maintenence. I got my job in Palos verdes by using care.com
