If the family gifts all the childrens' teachers, coaches, etc., they will certainly have something for the nanny. My guess is that they just hadn't finished pulling it together yet, or want to do something special but haven't picked it up yet, or one boss hasn't had a chance to talk to the other about a bonus amount, or something along those lines. People get busy this time of year. If the nanny takes her charge to activities, school, etc., it is perfectly appropriate for her to delivery holiday gifts to those service providers.[/quote]
