Her extra days off were paid and were of our choosing but I'd be happy if my employer chose to give me extra days off. We were in town, so we could have had her work, but I had off so I gave her off.

Its a share but she has only been with the other family for 2 months (the previous share family's child went to school), so they are not giving her a raise.

She told me that everyone loved the knives and that she used the bonus money to sponsor a needy child. She seemed very excited that she had the opportunity to do that. Lots of people are happy with their jobs and salaries and dont expect a raise every year. If she leaves us, we will find a new nanny at the rate we are paying now but I sincerely doubt she will do that. [/quote]
