My nanny can't control traffic either. Yet, I expect her to arrive on time each morning and when she's more than 10minutes late and it has happened more than a couple times in the past month, we sit down and revisit the conversation about timeliness. And you are now admitting you are late a few times a week? A few is 3? That's more often than not? I would quit if I was your nanny. I just don't treat my nanny that way and my boss doesn't treat me that way either. A weekly pay is a pay check for the max number of hours worked. Your job is to get home on time. You can then decide if she stays when you arrive early to give you an extra hand (fine option) or if you want to give her a break. But you can't decide your contractual hours don't matter because you've let her go early here or there. You sound as if you don't respect other people or their time OP.[/quote]
