It's not being taken advantage of. It's doing a different job, and your only being asked and you are free to turn it down. You have to admit if your full time 40 hour a week job was to just sleep at someone else house with their kids while they are sleeping it would be a pretty sweet gig. You are a nanny during the day, you can charge a nanny rate, but for sleeping, if you wish to provide this service, you can not charge a nanny rate (well you can charge whatever you want, but you can not expect people will hire you at that rate). If you want extra money for sleeping and wish to be helpful to the family then do so and accept that rate of pay for that service. Just because you are a nanny does not entitle you to $20 an hour in whatever you do.[/quote]
