Also, please don't assume that every nanny is trying to cheat you. I've had parents who didn't want to pay my rate, and some who did so reluctantly. In both cases, they've always tried to hire me again, when I was working with other families. Check her references thoroughly, and base the pay on multiple factors including , level of experience/education, and her relationships with past employer's. That can reveal a lot. [/quote]
