That's the difference between hourly and salary employees, and why nannies are an odd amalgamation of the two. We are paid hourly because you are paying for our presence for a specific period of time, but tasks outside of direct supervision are finite. If mom is home and spending time with baby, and all extraneous duties are completed, it is completely appropriate to ask if anything else is needed before you head home. An MB who respects you would not make you sit there and wait on her just to milk you for time, she would dismiss you once you were clearly finished or engage you. Your MB is a bitch, and you are not a slave girl. Dust off that resume![/quote]
