So what again would Wired Nanny hope to accomplish?[/quote] I agree but just to clarify the PPs information it's true in most states it's not illegal to record someone as long as 1 party involved gives consent, however, that still doesn't make it admissible in court. It might be but as previously said if the other party had a reasonable expectation of privacy (ie conversation takes place in their house vs a public place) it often can't be used in court. But also, FYI,Maryland is one of the states that requires BOTH parties approval for recording so in Maryland it would actually be illegal to wear a wire. In Virginia and DC I believe it is not illegal. [/quote]
