Op: Well, I am dreading this week.... I am really really nervous. it has been effecting my whole weekend. Has anyone dealt with this before? I really need some advice on what to do if she brings it up in person, or just continues to give me the cold shoulder, I thought about bringing her flowers or a starbucks in the morning as a peace offering...
You've been given advice. Ignore her. Just keep repeating that your last day will be such-n-such a day. Do not engage her in conversation about it. Walk away if you have to. If she keeps bugging you say this, "MB I understand that might be upset about the short notice I have given you. As I've said before my last day will be X. I will not change my mind. I am getting very uncomfortable having you badger me about this. I would like to fulfill the notice period I gave you, but if you continue to bring this up I will be forced to resign immediately. Would you like me to fulfill my notice period on peaceful terms or shall we end my employment effective immediately?" Don't bring a peace offering. That will just tell her she's getting to you. You're moving on to a better opportunity. It happens all the time in the business world. Grow up, ignore and/or address her comments like people have suggested, and learn to be more assertive in your next position.
