Anyway, I went in this morning and the dad was there and he told me they no longer needed me. I asked why several times and he just kept saying he didn't think I was the best fit for them anymore. He told me that the termination was affective immediately and he thought it was best if I just left before the kids woke up. At this point I was in tears so I just grabbed my stuff and left. I wasn't even able to say goodbye to the kids. At this point, I'm past being sad and I'm just angry. We did have a contract for the first year but after my review we just hadn't gotten around signing a new one. I took 3 sick days last week for the procedure and recovery. They were the first sick days I have taken with this family and I've been with them over a year.         [/quote]
