I felt self conscious about sitting , like they are watching me and wondering why I am sitting down to eat. I found a different type of job with different more caring people that I felt happier about. Try to realize it may also be you.  Not all people are a joy to work for...but that doesn't mean you have to be stuck with them forever.[/quote]

So you just sat around at your jobs and waited for instruction without having any initiative?  Because that is what OP was describing her nanny as doing.  If this does not describe you, then your experience is irrelevant. [/quote]
