I never said I didn't accept them! I said I wouldn't hire an employee to come to my home who has multiple visible tattoos, because I'm teaching my children that destruction of your body in that way is not acceptable in my home. Me employing a nanny who spends 40 hours or more in my home would contradict the morals I teach to my kids on that subject. I have older kids and they know we don't hate others or think any less of others who do things in a different way than we do, however they know what I will and will not allow in my house.[/quote]

We will just need to agree to disagree. To each their own. I will forever completely disagree. Tattoos are now the norm with over half of American adults having them. It's crazy to me to hold that against someone. Again, your loss for being closed minded. [/quote]

The only bigot I see here is you. I said I didn't think less of you. You however, have made a judgment on me because of my preference in the attributes of caregivers for my children.  You can sit back and pretend you make no judgments on anyone for anything ever, but you've surely proven yourself here sweetie...[/quote]

It's not intolerance....it's choosing who you allow to have an influence on your children. Tattoos pose unhealthy risks to your body and if I don't want my kids to be around someone who has tons of them in their first few years of life than that's MY CHOICE. [/quote]
