It is fine that this parent does not want a lesbian watching her children.  It is her choice not to have that influence in her home.   I would not want that for my children either.

To say lesbians do not molest children is wrong.  A close female friend of mine was molested as a little girl by a lesbian babysitter.  It happens.  [/quote]

Straight women have molested children too. Straight men have molested children. Gay men have molested children. Lesbians have molested children. A person's sexuality doesn't determine whether or not someone is going to molest a child. To think that just because a person happens to be gay means they will molest children is a horribly ignorant and bigoted opinion. [/quote]

I don't think I ever said that every lesbian is a molester, but it happens.  Adults of all sexual preferences molest children.   To say every lesbian will molest children is like saying every priest is a child molester.  But you have those out there who like to think that someone who is gay or lesbian could never abuse a child.
