Not the PP you're referring to but just wanted to add that there are many good parents. Infact, billions of them, and just because a tiny percentage abuse their own kids doesn't make them all a risk. A nanny is far more likely to abuse a child, esp a baby, then a parent because they aren't her kids. Yeah most likely wouldn't abuse their charges.[/quote]

This "I'll never leave my child with a stranger" thing is ridiculous.  So you are going to homeschool?  No college?  You're child needs to learn how to trust other people?  Most nannies don't do this, we only hear about the sour apples.
