I can't believe this is so hard for some MBs (and I am one of them).  DO NOT WRITE A CHECK THAT YOU CAN'T COVER IMMEDIATELY.  PERIOD.

I get that sometimes (very rarely) banks make mistakes.  And in such (rare) occasions, I would expect the MB to immediately call the bank and try to rectify the situation.  I usually think nannies are entitled on this site, but you take the cake for entitlement.  Why the hell should your nanny be GRACIOUS to you after you wrote a bad check and it took a freaking WEEK for her to get her money?  [/quote]

DID YOU READ MY THREAD AT ALL? Obviously, you didn't even read what I wrote.

Do you call the bank immediately on a Saturday morning to rectify when the bank is closed? If you answer yes, "I jump and down at my bank's door when it is closed on a weekend" then OK. I have nothing to say to you. We just disagree that's all.
Do you call the bank immediately to rectify the situation after your nanny told you she already cashed the check and got most of her paycheck?

Let's clarify, OP is jumping up and down because MB didn't do the above.

I think that OP is just posting as MB because she can't get over the fact that after she ALMOST had to wait 2 days over a weekend for her paycheck, MB said "Let's talk about it on Monday instead of Friday night over Thanksgiving."
