DO NOT WRITE A CHECK THAT YOU CAN'T COVER IMMEDIATELY. PERIOD. I get that sometimes (very rarely) banks make mistakes. And in such (rare) occasions, I would expect the MB to immediately call the bank and try to rectify the situation. I usually think nannies are entitled on this site, but you take the cake for entitlement. Why the hell should your nanny be GRACIOUS to you after you wrote a bad check and it took a freaking WEEK for her to get her money? [/quote]
