2. You want a day off but don't want to use PTO. So, you want to take Monday off and agree to work extra hours on T-F to make up for it. This has to be initiated BY YOU.

Some families have a relationship where they might ask - hey can you come in earlier or work longer and I will let you go the next day. But it is always an ask. You are guaranteed the hours in your contract and if they need you outside those hours, they need to pay extra for them. [/quote]
