MUCH bigger issue is the lack of guaranteed hours. You can at least plan around a scheduled doctor appt and it’s a couple of hours (and also you should have some PTO you can use to cover it) but you cannot plan around people deciding on a whim not to pay you! It’s one unpaid day now but there’s nothing to prevent them from saying “we are leaving on vacation tomorrow for a month” and leaving you scrambling to make rent; this is especially likely around the holidays which are coming up very soon. Get guaranteed hours and some paid time off or find another job asap. Good luck.[/quote]
