Guys, wait for the backlash, when more people get wind of this, APs getting vaccines to go party and travel (and take care of a couple of kids in the same family that they were already taking care off anyway) while childcare center workers, teachers, older people still can't get vaccinated and schools are closed. This is so wrong.
I will not encourage my AP to get the vaccine at this stage. We are keeping safe, and I would much rather have the people working on the frontline, the elderly, the immuncompromised, and the essential workers, including teachers and nannies get it first. If agencies are encouraging APs to get vaccines now then shame on the. Agencies can't have it both ways. When you try to get them to enforce COVID rules and expectations more carefully with APs they will throw "it all depends on individual families" in your face. They won't pay for COVID tests. yet, they are promoting APs to get vaccinated?
