Secular centers don’t close except for Christmas.[/quote] Big daycare centers might not normally close, but I'd say that's due to having enough employees that they can have 1 person take their vacation and still have others cover to for them. Many in-home daycares definitely do close for a full week or 2 during the year (usually during Christmas, and 1 in the summer). These people running them definitely want their own vacation time and cannot just have other staff cover for them.[/quote]
