As I posted earlier, alcohol metabolizes within 2-3 hours per drink. Therefore, 2 drinks is 4-6 hours. Many, many medications stay in a person’s system for over 24 hours. Breastmilk has similar alcohol content to blood; medications might be higher or lower in breastmilk than in blood.[/quote]
