My brother technically has a debit card, but he doesn’t use it and would have to find it. OP is well within her rights to offer a check or say that cash will have to wait til after Christmas.[/quote] You don’t need a smartphone for PayPal or Venmo. Never said OP wasn’t within her rights (wouldn’t suggest waiting until after the holidays). Just that it’s sad simple technology is hard to grasp. Even more sad people still try to use checks when they aren’t convenient at all. [/quote]
