OP here.

I'd say that's at least somewhat possible. Although honestly, he's a very good kid. He and his brother have been absolute sweethearts, from day 1. I'm not saying it's impossible--but judging by how he reacts, when this happens (surprised, upset, apologetic, etc) It seems unlikely.

No offense OP but you seem to not have much experience with toddlers. Are you used to working with younger babies? It’s pretty common and unmessy to change a toddler while standing and face him towards the potty or toilet to use it instead of you. [/quote]

No worries. Truthfully I'm not that familiar with younger LO's, no. This is actually my only my 4th family...and the first two were both on our street, and was way way less of a long-term position. They'd all been 100% potty trained, for the most part up until my current family. This current family I'm with almost 5/6 days a week.

Will definitely attempt it standing, though! I'd thought about moving the operation into their bathroom, long before...but ended up bailing on that, because of space limitations with lying him down on the ground, etc.[/quote]
